Resort in Florianópolis launches campaign focused on creating jobs for professionals affected by floods in Rio Grande do Sul

The Costao do Santinho Resort, in Florianópolis (SC), has open positions for immediate hiring and has launched a campaign aimed at professionals affected by the floods in Rio Grande do Sul. According to data from the General Employment Record (CAGED) released this week, residents of Rio Grande do Sul lost 22,000 jobs in May due to the climatic disaster.

Among the positions directed towards professionals affected by floods in Rio Grande do Sul, there is a focus on general services, chambermaids, recreationists, personnel administration analysts, waiters, bartenders, kitchen staff, dishwashers, receptionists, tax analysts, and sales positions. "We know that many have lost everything, and at this time, solidarity is necessary. We have opportunities, physical structure, and personnel to welcome new employees," highlights Leonardo Freitas, co-president of Costao.

In addition to the usual benefits, the resort also offers accommodation. "A lot of support is needed to start over. Our purpose is to create unforgettable memories, and this policy is from the inside out, a practice that is part of our DNA. Since our foundation – when ESG wasn't even being discussed, we already had this culture here at the resort," Freitas adds.
