The appreciation of history is part of Costao's DNA. The open-air Archaeological Museum, inaugurated in 1997, is the first of its kind in Brazil and preserves rock inscriptions from the 'Men of the Sambaqui', dating back 5,000 years.
These cultural marks, found at Praia do Santinho, reveal the history of the first inhabitants of Santa Catarina and are part of the resort's legacy, offering an ecological and cultural commitment. Facing the sea, they are sacred symbols that convey messages to future generations.
